Every year across the Rocky Mountains, wild roaming elk and deer are legally harvested as part of responsible wildlife management. As the meat moves through wild game butchers, trimmings and bones from the butchery process are often treated as scrap and sent to landfills.
To us, that never sat right.
For dogs, that wild resource is nature’s purest protein — and with dogs sharing over 99% of their DNA with wolves, it’s exactly what they’re built to thrive on. So we built Mountain Wild to reclaim these once discarded resources and transform them into all-wild, all-natural dog treats that fuel healthier, more active lives for dogs.
In our first year alone, we saved over 70,000 pounds of wild meat and bones from ending up in landfills. And we’ve continued to save far more every year since, honoring every part of this wild resource and reducing waste along the way.
As part of our commitment to sustainability, we also offer wild antler chews made from naturally shed elk and deer antlers collected from the wild. Long-lasting, mineral-rich, and sustainably sourced.
We believe that giving back is part of our responsibility. A portion of our annual proceeds supports wildlife conservation and anti-poaching efforts, helping protect the land, wildlife, and balance that make all of this possible.
